Albano Poli was born in Verona on August 2, 1935. He attended the Napoleone Nani art school in Verona, directed by the master Pino Casarini. As suggested by master Pino Casarini, Albano Poli began creating masterful works of art using glass material. In a small art shop in the center of Verona Albano Poli begins his long career.

These Impressive brutalist sconces in good condition.
This pair of sconce were designed by Albano Poli and manufactured by Poliarte in the 1970s.
The lamps consists of heavy hand forged iron which gives them a brutalist look.
The iron strips encase irregular pieces of hand chipped glass in clear and orange.
No electrical parts are present in this pair of sconces though it is recommended to use one 60 W light bulb each in order to have a warm diffusing light coming through the fixtures.
